Where a deadline is given for booking an event, volunteers and members must contact Jonathan who will pass on details of those booked to the event organiser.

Where there is a cost involved, Jonathan will let people know after the deadline if the event is going ahead, and whether they have a space on the event, and that their payment for the event is now due to be paid to the Treasurer.  If there is no cost involved, please assume that you should turn up for the event.  Those booked on “free” events will be contacted if it has to be cancelled for any reason.

It is essential that volunteers and members book on events that show a booking deadline to ensure that we have a sufficient balance between members and volunteers for the event to go ahead safely.  This avoids members being turned away if there are insufficient volunteers to support them, or volunteers being asked to support an event when they are not needed.

If members or volunteers are unable to attend an event they have booked on to, they should let Jonathan know immediately.  Please note that it may not be possible to cancel a payment due or refund a payment made.

Money due can be sent by cheque (payable to City Synergy) to Iris Keppler,  (especially if you are paying for a number of events please show clearly what events are being paid for), by bank transfer (contact Paul or Iris to arrange) or cash at a morning coffee or afternoon tea activity.
